The flowers are popping up everywhere. Trees are blooming in gorgeous whites, yellows, pinks, and showing every shade of leafy green. Everything is coming alive after the long winter.

The only downside to all this blooming beauty is the pollen! Everything has that subtle golden powder coating…your car, your grill, practically anything else outside.
If you have allergies, all that pollen plays havoc on your body with itchy eyes, a runny nose, sneezing, and sometimes even flu-like symptoms!
That powdery pollen also gets into your home coating your tables, light fixtures, and ducting. It even clogs your filters.
It’s time to schedule your Spring Clean and Check on your A/C system. To check your system, it must be at least 70 degrees outside and not raining. With springtime showers, it can be a little tricky with scheduling, but don’t let that discourage you in giving our office a call to get your Clean and Check on our books.
We keep a close watch on the weather and will get your system cleaned and checked before the summer heat sets in.
During your clean and check, we replace your filters with standard one-inch filters which takes care of most allergens that creep into the home. But if you or anyone in your family suffer from severe allergies, you may want to consider investing in an Air Bear 5-inch filter or ion filter. If you want an upgraded filter, be sure to let us know when you schedule your clean and check and we’ll give you a price quote.
During your appointment, we’ll also make sure your A/C unit isn’t full of leaves or grass from mowers blowing it into your unit. While we’re there, we’ll make sure that A/C unit is in tip-top shape for the summer months!
One thing is for certain, Missouri weather is unpredictable! You never know when you’ll need the heat on and then A/C in the same day. We can make sure yours is ready for that.
